Mitsubishi S12R Bi Fuel
Generator Sets Originally installed in 2001 by SimPower for a Power Company
utility to operate as a peak shaving plant. The utility sold the assets in
2005. The Mitsubishi S12R is one of the most widely used engines due to
offering effciency, reliablility and durability. This plant includes two
generator models, the SP1500 and the SP1400. The primary difference between
these units is that the 1500 is equipped with an air cooled radiator which
increases its output to 1500 kW, where the 1400 has a water cooled radiator.
We can also provide ammonia based SCR units for an additional cost if
desired.

this offering was initially part of a much broader purchase of like units by
an internationally recognized equipment manufacturer, service, and parts
firm. While the majority of the purchased equipment was placed into service
at a handful of California power plants, the firm’s EPC division was
eventually dissolved prior to finding projects for the Equipment within this
offering. The Equipment isnew/unused and was manufactured in 2001. The
Equipment has been in storage since taking delivery from the manufacturers.
